Signalling Equipment

Signalling Equipment
Signalling instruments come in a wide range of designs from the many different Railway companies which used to operate the Railway system.

These instruments were fitted inside the  numerous signal boxes of which there are now only a small number of survivors living on borrowed time.

These  instruments were beautifully hand-crafted from quality hardwood, mostly mahogany.

All the fittings were made from brass, cast-iron or steel. the wood cases were hand-finished by many expertly applied layers of French Polish.

With their brightly painted faces they make handsome and decorative items and grace any railway room or mantle piece.
