VT1323.. GWR , R.E.THOMPSON BRASS CASED TRACK CIRCUIT REPEATER.

These brass cased track circuit indicators are one on the most handsome items on the block shelf, dating from the mid 1920s these were in the classic looking Art Deco tstyle. This instrument is in full working order and has its original Ivorine plate.

VT0100. 20 TON ENGINEERS GRAMPUS WAGON PLATE.

BR Grampus Engineer’s Wagon These were vacuum fitted and some were converted to air brakes. The wagons are used to carry track materials, such as ballast (especially waste ballast) and sleepers. 722 Grampus were built in 1958-62. This plate is in great condition and has been faced restored.

TP LP20. A PAIR OF HOWES & BURLEY CARRIAGE LAMPS.

This pair of lamp came from a farm near Monmouth. These were supplied by G. Watkin & Son, Newport and were high quality cart lamp of the day.. Powered by candles which are housed in the brass magazine and forced upwards by a spring as the candle burnt down. These are a matched pair and in reasonable condition considering their age.
